Talk:Noel Redding
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
put up a picture of Noel. I wanted to include birth and death dates, but I'm kind of inexperienced to wikipedia.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ezy ryder (talk • contribs) .

[edit] Sources/Citations
There are no citations on this article. Some of the facts and quotes (such as the quote from Chas Chandler) are very interesting but without sources can't be trusted. --Crazytonyi 12:02, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Noel's Death
The issue regarding Noel's death is getting ridiculous. I thought that Wikipedia was designed to provide comprehensive and detailed information about its subject matter. When I saw that his death was glossed over with the meaningless non-medical term "natural causes" I quite naturally thought that providing the comprehensive and detailed information about how Noel died was the correct thing to do. If we're going to censor information and make spurious accusations of 'privacy' (I'm pretty sure looking up his recorded cause of death is not privileged information) then the WIkipedia entries simply become dumbed down. I'm not sure how to treat the comment "Suspect previous poster is being awkward and a dickhead" - I've always thought informed discussion was a good way of resolving disputes, and aren't there guidelines on here for respecting other people? -- Mickraus 14:19, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
you are talking about respect, yet dont seem to have respect for the subject, is it a matter for public knowledge as how he died, or is a case you wanting to show how clever you are. redstrand —Preceding unsigned comment added by Redstrand (talk • contribs) 15:44, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
- Is Wikipedia supposed to provide detailed informatory information or not? It's a simple question which I think has the answer "yes". -- Mickraus 21:02, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] More details about music!
This article is typical for wikipedia - its about everything but only little about music. I want to know which kind of music he played, and how this music evolved through time. That is by far most important. For example, what about that Fat Mattress, what kind of music is it; was it good or bad. Etc. 78.0.72.168 (talk) 03:37, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
