[edit] Future

The project's purpose is to provide a social software platform that is decentralized, as compared to the traditional closed/proprietary model used by current popular social networks. The goal is to have a single account, that will run on a network of independently operated servers in different communities, and each will work with open protocols (OpenID, XML-RPC) to encourage interaction and integration with other sites.
