The Town of Nocatee, Florida is an unincorporated master-planned community in St. Johns County in the U.S. state of Florida.

Nocatee pronounced \ˈnäk-ˈā-ˈtē\ is an approved Development of Regional Impact (DRI) under Section 380.06 of the Florida Statutes. The mixed used development is situated on approximately 13,323 acres, which 11,332 acres are located in northeastern St. Johns County and approximately 1,991 acres are located in southeastern Jacksonville, Florida.

The community of Nocatee, Florida has existed for more than 100 years in DeSoto County in south Florida, long before some developer expropriated the name. Type "Nocatee, Florida" into Google Maps and you can see it's a real place rather than a "development."

Nocatee is located in Ponte Vedra, Florida. The 15,000 acre development is located between the Intracoastal waterway and US Highway 1 approximately halfway between Jacksonville and Saint Augustine.

Austin Park at Nocatee is a single-family development located within the Nocatee PUD (PUD 200202; Ordinance 202-65).Austin Park at Nocatee was reviewed for development approval by St. Johns County as Sandy Ridge South (MDP 2005-193); the Master Development Plan (MDP) was approved by the Board of County Commisioners. Austin Park is approximately 85 acres and has been platted for 189 single family homes.

Nocatee Town Center will encompass over 300 acres within the heart of Nocatee.

The first phase of the Nocatee Town Center is planned for a mix of tenants; a grocery, several restaurants and banks will meet the daily shopping needs of Nocatee residents. Future phases will be constructed over time and are expected to include a mix of retail and office in a cohesive architectural style to include public open spaces, park areas, and fountains.

Construction is expected to begin early in 2008 with the first opening scheduled for mid-2009.

By 2009 Amenities within Nocatee will include Aquatics, Greenway and Multi-use Trails, Parks, Ball Fields and Phase I of Nocatee Town Center.
