NOCTI

NOCTI stands for the National Occupational Competency Testing Institute. It is a standardized test for students studying a trade in high schools and technical colleges in the United States. NOCTI assessments can also be used to test employees in job environments. Its' tests are based on the input from subject matter experts representing at least four regions of the United States. These tests are updated on a regular basis and are currently used in 47 of the 50 states. The tests are based on a rigorous job and task analysis process using industry experts and technical training program educators. A number of the tests are also linked to industry certification. Tests can be customized to meet the employment needs of a region or a state.
