Noble College Machilipatnam founded by Mr. Robert Turlington Noble, a European missionary in 1843. It is one of the first four colleges of India.

Noble college was praised by Charles Trevelyan, the governor of Madras, as the Cambridge of South India.

Noble College is managed by [Church of South India(http://www.csichurch.com/)] Krishna Godavari Diocese which is head quartered at Machilipatnam.

Noble college has two hostels named after two eminent personalities associated with Noble College. They are Clarke Hostel & Sharkey Hostel.
