[edit] Prisonplanet.com
Prisonplanet.com is a conspiracy theory web site run by Alex Jones and maintained by Paul Joseph Watson. It was launched in June 2001 and is primarily a site hosting links and mirrors to other similar websites' articles. This site mirrors commentary from sites such as infowars.com, Rense.com and CounterPunch.org. Some content is restricted to members and/or subscribers.
Prisonplanet.com features articles, audio, and video concerning several alleged government conspiracies and coverups. The site alleges that the September 11th terrorist attacks were perpetrated by the United States government, and questions the commonly-accepted explanations for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and the 1995 Oklahoma city bombing.
[edit] Views of the website
- New world order: It claims to expose the New World Order, asserting that there are concentration camps being constructed in the U.S. to house anyone that is considered a threat, and that martial law will be declared by the government in response to crises such as terrorism, natural disasters on a national scale (such as a major earthquake or tsunami), and civil disturbances.
- London bombings: It claims that the London Bombings were staged by the government, and they have an archive on the issue.
- 9/11: It has a large 9/11 archive [1]
- World Trade Center: It argues that the World Trade Center was demolished by internal explosives [citation needed]. It strongly rejects the "No plane" theory, viewing it as "damaging to the 9/11 truth movement's credibility and it is one of the first things that debunkers like Popular Mechanics seize upon when building straw man hit pieces." [1]
- Pentagon:The website is neutral on the "no plane hit the Pentagon" theory, since it is wary of the claim being a distraction aimed to later discredit the 9/11 Truth movement. [2] It even questions the claims made by others, in order to raise debate and "not debunk either side of the argument" [3]. The site says that this caused a former pilot to contact them on the issue [4]. They continued by speculating regarding the credibilities of some of the wittnesses [5][6]. On 02 July 2006, it linked to a video that supported that pentagon was indeed struck by a plane [7]. This in contrast to what some other people in the 9/11 Truth Movement argue. One 26 July 2006, they repeated a warning for supporting a no-plane theory [8].
- No plane at towers: It views the theory that no planes hit the towers as missinformation that is damaging to the 9/11 Truth Movement, something that needs to be forcefully rejected [9].
- American illegal imigrants: The site is strongly against what it perceives as large amounts of illegal immigrants brought into the USA in order to "make slaves of the middle class" [10]
- North American Union: The site is strongly against both the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America and Amero, who they view is propagated and constructed outside congressional overview in order to create a North American union.
- Outcome-based education: The site is opposed to outcome-based education, explaining it as a plot by the United Nations, the US government, and teachers to strip children of their individuality using a mix of psychology and mind-altering drugs.[11] It also opposes total quality management,[12] seeing it, too, as a manipulative technique designed to suppress individuality and prepare American citizens for integration into a new world order.
- Freemasonry: It has an archive on Freemasonry.
- Osama bin Laden: It views that most Osama bin Laden material released after 9/11 2001 are fake [13]
- 2004 vote fraud: It views that there was vote fraud involved in the 2004 American presidential elections[14]
- Pat Tillman: The death of Pat Tillman has been stated to be a "Scripted Hoax" [15]
[edit] Videos
The site includes:
- A video of George Galloway[2]
- A video of 2006 Iraqi children beating by British[3]
[edit] Infowars.com
The site takes a general anti-collectivist stance on society, and attributes left-wing ideologies such as socialism and communism, as well as right-wing ideologies such as neoconservatism and fascism, as key elements within a globalist movement for a one-world government. The site is vehemently opposed to such systems of thought suggesting that such ideologies are created and used as tools by the one-world government movement.
Among the content is Charlie Sheen's response[4] to The Guardian's coverage of the Charlie Sheen and Alex Jones interviews. The site also hosts a clip[5] of A.J. Hammer discussing the event with Erica Jong.
Also available on the site is a number of videos aimed to inform the general public about a number of conspiracies surrounding the current and past administrations and their possible relation to the Skull and Bones secret society.
[edit] Views of the website
Infowars.com holds the following views:
- That the 1993 World Trade Center bombing was orchestrated by elements of the US government.
- That the 1995 Oklahoma city bombing was orchestrated by elements of the US government.
- That the 2001 9/11 attacks were orchestrated by neo-conservative elements of the US government, aiming to justify a future war on terror.
- It is neutral to the "no plane" hitting the Pentagon theory, since it is weary of it being a distraction aimed to later discredit the 9/11 Truth movement. They speculate that it could also be is used for debate, in order to divide the movement. They also state that "Infowars has never chosen to focus on it because the evidence surrounding the explosions in the Pentagon do not compare to the ironclad evidence we have about other aspects of 9/11." [6].
- That the 2005 London bombings were orchestrated by the British government in order to support calls for ID cards and justify Britain's contribution to the war on terror.

If psychology is unsuccessful, behavior modification drugs, such as Ritalin are often forced upon parents and children at the request of teachers to achieve the desired result."

Another similarity is that truly individual thought is discouraged through this psychology, and if that manipulation fails, economic pressure is used as an incentive for change."
