Talk:NoAdware

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Does anyone know if the material presented in this article is legit. It was my understanding that this product still has false positives and still does not work very well.

From the looks of the poor grammatical English on this page I am suspecting that it was last edited by foreigners. In which case I would assume the facts are to be suspect. Also doing a quick search on NoAdware shows a lot of suspect reviews as well as almost a whole page of "buy now" links. Some of the more reputable tech sites still have bad reviews of this product. General census is that it still is giving false positives and in turn screwing up peoples computers. I would move that the facts listed in this article be backed by a reputable 3rd party, and the grammar really needs to be cleaned up.--Lab Dragon (talk) 00:07, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

NoAdware company is 100% legitimate. However companies that sell their products through Clickbank.net are constant advertised by Clickbanks 100,000 affiliates.

So that is the reason you will see many different sites all promoting NoAdware. And all have Buy now links - all wish to make money.

NoAdware company had updated its affiliate policy and now they have strict legal terms. Affiliates were advertising using illegal methods like showing popups, fake warnings and even using adware and viruses.

That is why NoAdware was ultimately marked as rogue anti spyware program.

The program itself is 100% clean. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Karlsult (talk • contribs) 13:31, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

I have used NoAdware for a long time now and have always had my suspicions about it. Howevever, after using both the the trial and registered versoin, I am more than pleased with it. It caught and removed all spyware and adware on two of my computers (including some which were severely dmaing my PC and cold not be caught by Ad-Aware 2007). The program runs with ease and updates quickly. My one computer, after having so many problem with spyware for so long has never run so well for so long. Though the program and company still seem sketchy to me, I do say that it is a quality anti-spyware program.
