No More Heroes is tribute band to the Stranglers formed in 1996 in Nottingham, England. The idea for the band came out of a jam session with keyboard player Sprock, bassist Rob Holmes, guitarist Bridgy and drummer Ash Reynolds who came up with the name. Bridgy was quickly replaced by guitar/vocalist Dave Berridge.
The band's first gig was at the Market Tavern in Sutton-in-Ashfield in Nottingham around December 1996.
The band released their debut album Rats, Ravens and Men in Black in August 1998 on their own label Fliptop through PHD.
No More Heroes supported the Stranglers at Rats Rally 2000 with Stiff Little Fingers. The band have also supported UK Subs on several occasions.
