No. 679 Squadron RAF

No. 679 Squadron RAF was a squadron of the Royal Air Force during the Second World War.
It was formed on December 1 1943 at RAF Ipswich, from 1616 Flight and 1627 Flight, for anti-aircraft training duties, and operated a variety of aircraft in this role.
It was disbanded in June 1945.
