[edit] Fair Use

I'm not sure how this image can qualify for Fair Use. According to WP:FUC, criterion #1 (which, like the other 9 criteria must be met) states:

No free equivalent. Non-free content is used only where no free equivalent is available, or could be created, that would serve the same encyclopedic purpose. Where possible, non-free content is transformed into free material instead of using a fair-use defense. Non-free content is always replaced with a freer alternative if one of acceptable quality is available. "Acceptable quality" means a quality sufficient to serve the encyclopedic purpose. (As a quick test, ask yourself: "Can this image be replaced by a different one that has the same effect?" If the answer is yes, the image probably does not meet this criterion.)

Since this is a drawing, I fail to see how no free equivalent could be created. Unfortunately, I have minimal drawing skills, but presumably, someone could create a very similar image from scratch and release it under a free license. Or perhaps a new blank player template image could be created, that could then be used to create all of the uniform designs, eh? -Seidenstud 14:16, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
