I’m Nivash Kumar. I’m a Software Engineer,writer and contributor to open source. I was a web programmer in 2006, later I started to work with SEO and advertising on the web and in this blog I write about Search Engine Optimization. It works equally good to try out some techniques and write at the same on my blog about the pros and cons of the techniques that I applied. My academic research is on Web 2.0.

There were times when I found search engines including Google and Yahoo were providing inappropriate results, its a decade ago. Today its different, search giants employ AI algorithms to display results based on learning that has happened about the user, surprisingly you will never feel these things as normal user. Content filters have matured and they act good enough to eliminate any duplicate content on the web in SERPs. Google bombing is considered a serious threat to quality of search engines and geeks at Google are working on it. Google also has ingenious ways to determine if a site is good in terms of quality and quantity. All the very old techniques like key word stuffing and writing false words in the meta tags do not work any more.
