Nito Gomez is a former WWE wrestler and bodybuilder born in Hawaii in 1964. The son of famed wrestler "Pepper" Gomez, Nito - looking uncannily like his father - followed in his footsteps and joined World Wrestling Entertainment in the late-80s. His tenure in the arena ended in 2003.
After training at a pro wrestling school run by ring veterans Gerry Monti and Mad Russian Alexis Smirnoff, Nito went on to hold regional titles such as the IWA Heavyweight title in southern California, and the Pacific Coast Tag Team title twice. In 1989, he also wrestled one of his childhood heroes, Rocky "Soulman" Johnson (father of WWE's "The Rock") in a tag team match in San Jose, CA. Gomez also competed in bodybuilding from 1981 (as a teenager) to 2003, winning titles such as the Mr. Central California, Mr. Northwestern America, Novice Mr. Los Angeles, Mr. Santa Clara County, and Mr. Contra Costa County. He also placed second in the 1992 Junior Mr. America competition. Today, he resides in the Silicon Valley where he continues to appear in bodybuiling competitions as well as on the indie wrestling circuit under the name "Nito Muraco," the nephew of his idol Don "Magnificent" Muraco. Professionally, he operates a small business as a commercial artist.
