Mr. Nima Montazeri is a frequent public speaker and the managing director at Floyd Associates, a boutique consultancy in Los Angeles, CA, USA. Prior to founding Floyd Associates, he has been a part of senior management of various public companies. Mr. Montazeri is the author of several research and analysis related to various industries and sectors. As an economist, he has done extensive research in international trade, openness, and economic growth. As Chair of one of the committees at the Los Angeles Venture Association, he is an active member of the investment community in Southern California. He possesses years of experience in corporate finance and is an expert in matters related to financing public and private enterprises. Numerous companies have benefited from Mr. Montazeri's insights on business strategy formation, market expansion, and optimal capital structure. Among other topics Mr. Montazeri has conducted research in economic growth, performance measurement, control systems and business strategy, corporate valuation, accounting for research & development, pensions, and risk management. Mr. Montazeri holds a BA with honors in Economics from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada and a Masters in Finance and Accounting from the London School of Economics and Political Science in London, UK.
