Nimaethap
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nimaethap was probably the wife of Khasekhemwy and the first Dowager Queen of Egypt that is known with certainty to have acted as regent for her son, Djoser, during the Third dynasty of Egypt. Some consider her to have been reigning Pharaoh in her own right. She held the title of Great Royal Wife, which makes it likely that she was married to Khasekhemwy, and was the mother of the king's children.
