The article about the Queen of Canada is entitled Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. When you create a link to that existing article, the linked words appear in blue. If a reader clicks on those words, he or she will be taken to the article about Queen Elizabeth. When you change the link to something else, as you have been doing, you break the link to the article, and the words turn red. If the reader clicks on the red words, nothing happens. He or she does not get to the article with information about Queen Elizabeth II. Please stop breaking the link. Thank you. Ground Zero | t 17:05, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

- This is an important and frequently edited article. Changes to the description of the role of the monarch have been very hotly contested in the past. To avoid disputes, I think you should post this question, and your reasons for suggesting the change, at Talk:Canada, and see what other regular editors of that article say about it.
