Nile is the self-titled debut release by the American technical/brutal death metal band of the same name.
The demo was released independently in 1994, and differs stylistically to all of Nile's later work. None of the songs have been re-recorded or re-released (although, in late 2004, Nile frontman Karl Sanders speculated on the possibility of re-recording 'Worship The Animal' for use as a bonus track on the next Nile album at the time. However, this didn't happen and the idea has presumably been scrapped).
Karl Sanders has now virtually disowned the demo, commenting on the band's official forum, in 2004, "Some things are best left dead"
