Currently a student at the University of Michigan School of Information in the Master of Information program. Was in employment with the Central Bank of Malaysia (Bank Negara Malaysia in Malay) between 1994 and 2007 as its webmaster.

Graduated from Bristol University, UK in 1994 in Economics and Accounting. Obtained his first master's degree in information management from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Shah Alam, Malaysia in 2004.
