[edit] Yudyonich

In some old English books on Russian Civil War I'vee seen the transcription of his name as "Yudyonich", which would mean to transcribe "Юдёнич". Can it be the name was corrupted, just like it happened with Khrushchev and Chebyshev? Mikkalai 22:16, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Kavkaz = Caucaus...

"the new government removed him from the Caucusus and sent him to the unimportant Kavkaz front in March"

Uhm.. Kavkaz is Russian for the Cacusus...

Shouldn't it be Central Asia? (Caucasus_Campaign#1917_-_All_is_Quiet) --Hardscarf 12:38, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
In March-April of 1917 Russian Caucasian Army was reformed to Caucasian Front (Kavkazskiy Front in Russian). And Caucasian Army Commander became Caucasian Front Commander. LOL RamBow 21:56, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
