Nikolay Popov

Nikolay Popov (December 14, 1931[1] - February 4, 2008) was the Russian chief designer of the T-80 tank, which was first built by the Soviet Union during the 1970s.[1]

Popov died at the age of 76 on February 4, 2008, after a long illness.[1]
