Niko Bungert (born on October 24, 1986 in Bochum, Germany) is a German footballer who plays as a defender for Mainz 05 in the 2. Bundesliga. He is also a member of the German U-21 team. He was part of the Schalke Youth Team that won the Youth DFB-Pokal in 2005.
