Niki Evans (born 13 December 1972) is an English singer-songwriter. She is most famous for coming fourth in the fourth series of the popular television talent show The X Factor.

Evans was in the '25 and over' category, mentored by Louis Walsh, alongside Beverley Trotman and Daniel DeBourg. The first live show saw her singing the Sinéad O'Connor hit Nothing Compares 2 U". These were followed by performances of "My Heart Will Go On", "All That Jazz", "Because of You", "Hot Stuff", and "The Power of Love". Performances of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and "Fields of Gold" won her a place in the semi-finals, where she was voted out after her renditions of Eva Cassidy's "Songbird" and Whitney Houston's "One Moment in Time".

Since The X Factor, Niki Evans has taken part in many gigs including the live X Factor arena tour with the other X Factor finalists. She has been offered a record deal and a role in a West End production in 2009 according to her official website. She has stated that she cannot reveal any more details until the X Factor tour is over due to a contract.
After The X Factor Tour, Niki's version of the Series 4 winner's single When You Believe was leaked on her official website. Many fans feel that this should have won the competition and Simon Cowell had also admitted on GM:TV that Niki recorded the best version.
Since leaving the show, she has signed a record deal, with her debut album to be released later this year. Niki's new single is to be released Summer 2008, called "Love Me No More"
Niki also now has a star named after her. It is true that her fans are still dedicated to her months on from the X Factor, sending her presents and gifts as a token of appreciation and dedication towards her, as shown on her site, www.niki-evans.com.
The Official Niki Evans Fan Club was launched on 1st June 2008.

Niki lives with her husband Darren and her two sons, Morgan and Jonah. The singer was a former dinner lady at a school in Birmingham until she received too much media attention about her cosmetic surgery in April.
