[edit] Current Issues
- Leeky and Pompey are together somewhere, Thog, Sabine and Nale are in Azure City and were being held in Shojo's anti-magic cells.
- Miko and Hinjo overheard Shojo telling the whole secret-and-lies shtuff to the OotS; Miko subsequently killed Shojo and lost her paladin powers. She then proceeded to destroy the gate saphire.
- The group has returned to Azure City to be teleported whereever Xykon is headed. The Oracle's predictions were:
- Belkar will not get too old?! [3]
- Durkon will only return to his Dwarven homelands "posthumously".[4]
- Vaarsuvius will achieve complete and total ultimate arcane power by "saying the right four words to the right being at the right time for all the wrong reasons".[5]
- The story will have a happy ending for Elan.[6]
- Xykon will head to Girard's gate next after Azure City.[7]
- The two remaining gates are to be checked out.
- Belkar will face trial for murder and attempted jailbreak after the OotS finishes their mission regarding the gates and Xykon. Until then, Belkar wears a Mark of Justice — a magical symbol which activates a disease curse if Belkar kills a townsperson, leaves Roy's vicinity, or pisses Roy off. A permanent illusion has been set up in Belkar's cell by Eugene until the trial.
- Favours from Shojo: Miko has lost her purse containing a message from Durkon's dwarven homeland. (Durkon had written a letter to be sent to the High Priest of Thor, asking to be allowed to return and see his grandparents; the former High Priest died and the new one would allow him to come home, but the Creature in the Darkness ate the letter. His grandfather is already dead.)[8]
