[edit] Quote
"Indeed, there have been only a few reliable records of the bird since the 1880s, with the last authenticated report dating from 1990, when a roadkill specimen was discovered by scientists returning from an expedition in a remote part of Queensland." Where is this taken from? I want to quote it 146.176.60.68 12:17, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] New sighting
Keep an eye on this fella. Apparently a recent sighting of live Night Parrots in the Pilbara has been confirmed. No official news yet, I've only heard a rumour. But I've no doubt it'll appear in relevant publications soon enough. Gemfyre 12:38, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Night Parrot sighting - CONFIRMED
The latest edition of W.A. Bird Notes (Number 123, September 2007) has a small article by Rob Davis - chairperson of Birds W.A. and the person who saw these parrots. This sighting has been confirmed by the Birds Australia Rarities Committee. I am mostly wiki-illiterate so I don't know how to properly reference this, but if somebody can put in a correct reference for it please do so. Gemfyre 04:39, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
