Those GRO references look a bit obscure, and not up to the "readily verifiable" standard for sourcing; I don't think they're necessary, as the dates are all in the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography, which is a lot easier to find. Gordonofcartoon 02:20, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
