Nightmare Weekend is a 1986 horror film directed by Henry Salva and distributed by Troma Entertainment. It features the first film role of NYPD Blue actress Andrea Thompson.
The plot follows a brilliant professor who invents a computer machine meant to better society. However, when her beautiful yet psychotic assistant gets ahold of it, she manipulates it to warp people's minds and turn them into crazed mutants. She selects three young college girls as her victims and invites them up to the professor's house for a weekend of torture and diabolical experiments. Luckly, the three girls are saved by the heroic woman only discribed as "Linda's Mother" (portrayed by Joan Krosche). Linda is one of the three victims.
