Nigel Thatch (born 1976) is an amateur baseball player, and aspiring actor. He holds the dubious distinction of being sold for a pallet of Budweiser beer. On May 1, 2006, Schaumburg of the Northern League sold Thatch to Fullerton of the Golden Baseball League in exchange for 60 cases of Budweiser beer. In a small piece of irony, Thatch was featured as the character 'Leon' in several Budweiser commercials.
