[edit] Summary

en: Gesetz wider das Christenthum ("law / decree against Christianity"). Page 47 of the manuscript of Friedrich Nietzsche's Der Antichrist (but since some point between 1909 and 1932 kept in the Ecce homo manuscript). At least for some time, Nietzsche intended this text to be the ending of AC. The page had however been pasted over with a blank page, probably by Nietzsche himself. Much discussion (Podach, Champromis, Kaufmann, Montinari) has arisen over this text. In the Colli-Montinari edition, the text is printed after AC's ending and in smaller letters to make clear that Nietzsche's final intentions about it are not clear. — Facsimile from Erich Podach: Friedrich Nietzsches Werke des Zusammenbruchs, Heidelberg 1961, figure VIII after p. 432. Manuscript D XXV in the Goethe- und Schiller-Archiv, Weimar.
