Overview

Nic Burden, born 23 January 1990 is an 18 year old up and coming model and club dancer on the Walsall scene. He is best known locally for his regular appearances around venues around the West Midlands area, usually with his trademark school friend and party partner Aimee Thomas.

Arrival on The Social scene

Nic and Aimee first made an impact on the social scene when they staged a ‘fake’ birthday, and managed to persuade people that they were in fact twins. Through the use of popular culture social networks sites such as Myspace, he managed to market the ‘Birthday’ and this is how the ‘twins’ first came to be known.

On the night of the ‘Birthday’ Nic and Aimee were called to the DJ booth at midnight where the DJ announced that the club would sing Happy Birthday to them. 30 Minutes prior to this, ‘at midnight it’s the twin’s birthday’ was displayed on eve every plasma screen in the club.

After midnight the twin’s favourite song Gimme more (Britney Spears) was played, as the pair danced in the DJ booth.

[edit] Future Plans

Nic is hoping for a career in the media and was voted Most likely to be a celebrity (at his 2006 Prom) and Best Dressed Male (Next Retail). Having failed three driving tests in an eight week period Nic is also hoping that success will come quickly and be accompanied by a chauffeur!

[edit] Speedy deletion of Nic burden

A tag has been placed on Nic burden requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] January 2008

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, as you did at Nic burden. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. SMS Talk 00:01, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
