Along with the noted excellent spatial awareness, Locche also had terrific blocking skills. Also, it's not said, though it may be implied, but a lot of his ability to dodge shots so well came from good head-movement; that's a point that needs to be noted. And, as his record suggests, Locche wasn't skilled as a puncher.
