Hi,

I've just created a page in English for Nicolas Bouvier based on information and links found on the French entry.

I am in awe of this writer and would appreciate it we could add information about him and his work.

[edit] Iconograph

This links to the imp-powered cameras found in the works of Terry Pratchett. I'd correct this, only I'm not sure what it should be... Daibhid C 23:39, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Maybe it refers to iconography the way it's used in cultural studies, meaning that his work reflected 'icons' (symbols, signs, landscapes etc.) of great importance to a particular culture. This would be more of a meta-attribute, and it's not on the same level as "traveller", "writer", and "photographer". Perhaps it should be removed from the opening line and included in one of the following sentences. ---Sluzzelin 10:27, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Fixed the problem. Linked it now to iconography, having verified that this was the intent on the original French version. Thanks! Tobateksingh 21:40, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
