[edit] Commercial free?

I would need confirmation, but I do not think that Nick Jr. is comercial-free these days, if it ever was. I won't let my preschooler watch the morning shows because they run ads for toys and crap foods. 76.197.56.104 (talk) 05:18, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit]

I think Nick Jr. was established before 1990. I Was a _major_ TV kid and I remember seeing the nick jr bumpers for Noozles in 1989 (I remember this because I had also watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit on TV during the same time frame.

I also believe the last year of pinwheel (;_;) was under the nick jr. brand (also 1989)

[edit] The long list added earlier

It occurs to me I may understand what the anonymous poster was trying to do in their earlier edits here, which was to provide an alphabetical list (if not a complete list) of all logo shapes used in the history of Nick Jr. (e.g. two crocodiles to create the logo, two flowers, and so on). I do not believe having this in the article significantly improves it. That said, in the interest of providing relevant content, I have taken it upon myself to instead describe what the logo is in broad strokes, with the hope that it is not necessary to explicitly list all of the dozens or hundreds of logos that Nick Jr. has used in the last 15+ years. [edit] Maya the bee

the maya the bee link only direct to the comic book, not the series which is at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maya_the_Bee_%28TV_series%29

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Nickjr logo.jpg

Image:Nickjr logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:30, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ads being aired during Nick Jr. shows

What is with the "citation needed"? Back in June, I saw commercials during shows with my own two eyes! (I was only watching NJ because I was waiting for SpongeBob) WizardDuck 03:50, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Why in the World?

Why did someone list slogans for years that haven't even happened in the slogan list? Purplewowies (talk) 02:23, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

By the way, the reason I edited an "IP user's" comment (if you go to the history of this page you'll see it) is because I was that IP user, and I forgot to sign in. Purplewowies (talk) 02:32, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Face

Here's something you might want to add to the article. I don't know if anyone remembers it, but Face became slightly "cooler" (different voice, different style face) in, oh, about 2003 or 04. Nick4404 (talk) 16:33, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
