Hello,

The information gathered for this article was gathered from multiple sources including interviews by journalists on MSN and Colorado Company magazine publication, not copied and pasted from the Web. I understand removing information from press releases or the corporate website (some info was pulled from there), but it seemed relevant as I was doing research on RFID-Ltd. I did not attemt to just copy and paste information, and regret that anyone would feel this way.

I will attempt to reinstate the information with substantial references to support the facts presented, not quote "ego-stroking" material which I do not feel the article contained. Jessical Biel also backed much of the information in this article which was deleted from Mr. Chavez's page. I have no problem providing additional key resources unaffiliated with the company in question. Why delete information about Chavez's work toward many charities? I don't think there is anything wrong with posting legitimate information as that.

Bill Gate's profile is filled with philanthropic activity. There are in fact MANY articles on entrereneurs, actors and individuals that are much lengthier than Mr. Chavez's and the ones I reviewed contained almost no references, so I do not understand the mass deletion. The idea that the article is massive "ego-stroking" seems very opinionated and a bit harsh. Any thoughts? I am just trying to get more information out there about RFID technology and the entrepreneurs behind it. Nothing wrong with that.

Thank you, Aearthur

I thought the introduction saying that Mr. Chavez was 'best described as an intellectual savant or mastermind' was just a bit much and that the statement that he was 'considered by many to be the "whiz kid" ...' could easily be sourced and yet, mysteriously, wasn't. And regardless, even Einstein's article doesn't contain such compliments.. or any popularly-known figure.. After reading that introduction, I thought the rest of the article followed suit.
I realized afterwards that I did yank a few things that were actually stated in that Colorado article, but it's the responsibility of the original editor to ensure that the references are clearly sourced and I couldn't easily tell what was actually written by someone else and what was just 'embellished' by Mr. Chavez himself.
If Jessica Biel, or whoever, does indeed back whatever you wrote, then readd it, but with verifiable attributions. But remember that even if someone did indeed write in an article that you are an intellectual savant or mastermind, you have to say something like 'XYZ, in issue ABC of PQR Magazine, said Mr. Smith was an intellectual savant ..'. My mother thinks I'm hilarious but that doesn't mean the whole planet agrees.
You should also create a separate article for your company rather than link straight to the website. You can put a link to your company's website in the article for the company.
I hope your company does well, just remember that too much self-aggrandizement can be bad.  :) And, ultimately, Wikipedia is about verifiable information, so even if self-aggrandizement is the best thing ever, it doesn't work on Wikipedia.
Enjoy.

Hi,

Thanks for your comments. This is not my company at all, I am not self promoting :) And yes Jessica Biel is a source. Can I use that as source reference as you suggest? Otherwise I can go back in and add attributions to correct sources accordingly. Some people just speak in more flamboyant terms than others :) I will see what I can do. I don't agree with self-aggrandizement either. I have my own company and haven't listed it on Wiki for that very reason. Given that I wrote an article on this person, do you think I should follow with an article on the company? I will do so as suggested :) Wiki is a valuable source and I respect that very much.

Thanks :)

If indeed you are not Nicholas Chavez, you must be one of his close relatives and/or employees, which means he must support your endeavor. Again, Wikipedia isn't a site for advertising (a business in which you're expected to lie) - Wikipedia is a site for verifiable information. At any rate, your use of so many hyperbolic statements makes all your statements appear unbelievable.

Hi, I am not an employee or a relative, I don't know Mr. Chavez personally and I have never met him. I am sorry if you feel my writing is filled with hyperbole. We all have different writing styles, I like to have fun when I write. Thanks for your comments. I do not advertise anyone but myself, and I certainly do not do it on Wiki. I use wiki to research material just as anyone else might. I get tired of reading the same dull tone all the time, that is all. A little spice in life isn't a bad thing. Have a great day and take care!
