Nicole Barber-Lane

Nicole Barber-Lane is an English actress best known for playing Myra McQueen in the long-running teen soap Hollyoaks. She plays the head of the feisty McQueen family, and is regarded as a leading character in the soap with her mix of comedy.[citation needed]
Before landing a part in Hollyoaks, Nicole has appeared in Emmerdale, Bodies, The Cops, and in a Yorkshire Building Society commercial.
Nicole has also appeared in theatres such as The Dance House Theatre, The Courtyard Theatre and The Robert Powell Theatre. She has also performed at the Bridge Water Hall in Manchester. She has two children, Jemma and Ben.
She ran the 2008 London Marthon and raised over £1000 for her chosen charity Genes for Genes
