The Nicobar Megapode or Nicobar Scrubfowl (Megapodius nicobariensis) is a megapode found in some of the Nicobar Islands.
They have been found to feed on the seeds of Macaranga peltata to a large extent followed by insects, snails, crustaceans and reptiles.[1]
