Nick Caserio (born December 27, 1975 in Westlake, Ohio) is the current American football director of player personnel for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. In 2007 he served as wide receivers coach for the Patriots squad that set records for most touchdown passes in a season (50).

[edit] Playing career
Caserio attended John Carroll University, where he played football as a quarterback from 1995 to 1998. He was also a three-time academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection. He was also a teammate of current Patriots offensive coordinator and then-John Carroll wide receiver Josh McDaniels.

Caserio began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Saginaw Valley State University from 1999 to 2000. In the spring of 2001, he served as a graduate assistant at Central Michigan University before being hired by the Patriots.

Caserio joined the Patriots in 2001 as a personnel assistant. In 2002, he served as an offensive assistant coach for the team, while in 2003 he moved to the scouting department as an area scout. Caserio served as the Patriots' director of player personnel from 2004 to 2006 prior to being named wide receivers coach in 2007. In 2008 he returned to the personnel department, as director of player personnel.
