Nicholas Quirke

Nicholas Quirke is an (undeveloped) fictional character in Philip Reeve's Mortal Engines Quartet. He is an English inventor who lived after the Sixty Minute War. He is often said to be the idealist behind Municiple Darwinism. He is the much revered founder of London the first Traction City.
