[edit] Nia

What does Nia mean? Is it an acronymn? --Heyitspeter 03:11, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Nia is one of the seven principles in Kwanzaa. I think Nia means "strength", but I'm not sure. Heavy Metal Cellisttalkcontribs

[edit] Descriptions

Would it be appropriate to describe some of the more important songs on the album? For example, we could say "Shallow Days is a very critical manifesto against gangsta rap" Heavy Metal Cellisttalkcontribs

[edit] Requested move

The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the proposal was moved to Nia (album). Nia redirected to existing NIA disambiguation page. ●DanMSTalk 00:38, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

NiaNia (album) — Nia is a common Welsh given name, as well as the things mentioned at the top of the current "Nia" article, but none of these usages can be said to be the primary usage of the word. Therefore, I propose that this article be moved to "Nia (album)" and that the article "Nia" be used as a disambiguation page. —PeeJay 00:26, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

  • Oppose at least the part about creating another dab; there is already a TLA dab at NIA that can take care of the links. Dekimasuよ! 11:49, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Blackalicious nia.jpg

Image:Blackalicious nia.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
