[edit] April 2008

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons. Thank you. IrisKawling (talk) 01:54, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles or any other Wikipedia page. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Sean Avery. KerotanLeave Me a Message Have a nice day :) 20:58, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] re:excuse me

Ok this is why I reverted your edit, one with your user name I would assume that you are related to said fansite in some way, 2 said fansite is published on myspace and from the quick glance that I had of it is not a prominent fansite at that. and finally having the rather POV push opinion of a small time fansite published on myspace on wikipedia is potential libel. So to sum up, that edit violated WP:COI, used unreliable sources and could have caused legal threats in the future. You can't justify editing an article, placing opinion such as that on the premise of a source from myspace where anyone create anything, so the real bone of contention I had was that it wasn't a reliable published source.--KerotanLeave Me a Message Have a nice day :) 21:22, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Sean Avery. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. NeilN talkcontribs 22:02, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeatedly placing references to your own website into articles. This account is only being used to push a non-notable hockey blog housed at myspace.com. You were repeatedly warned to stop this, and you continued to do so. Thus, you have been blocked.. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Non-notable? Who decides what is noteable? Was Wikipedia always notable? Everybody starts somewhere. We are noteable in that we are a hockey fan run discussion site. Please remove our ban immediately. we are stupified as to why we were banned in the first place. We were not putting anything offensive up. We were putting a citation to an award that we gave Sean Avery. A negative award sure, but we could scour through Wikipedia and found countless negative awards cited on various pages. }} below.

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Request reason: "Non-notable? Who decides what is noteable? Was Wikipedia always notable? Everybody starts somewhere. We are noteable in that we are a hockey fan run discussion site. Please remove our ban immediately."

Decline reason: "Please read our policies first, which are linked in the warnings above. As your username is also promotional and thus against policy, it is unlikely you will be unblocked unless you are A) willing to contribute to areas you do not have a conflict of interest in, and B) willing to change your username to something acceptable within policy. — Hersfold (t/a/c) 22:30, 22 April 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.
