[edit] Barred or unbarred?
I don't know too much about galaxies, but this article on barred spiral galaxies states that this galaxy is barred. - Ncoady
The page Barred spiral galaxy says that NGC 4565 is barred, but this page says it's unbarred. Which is correct? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.3.160.252 (talk) 16:24, 28 March 2007 (UTC).
- I have corrected the issue. NGC 4565 is unbarred (type is SA) per NED. WilliamKF 01:03, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

May I ask why it is that the said galaxy appears to be smaller and (obviously) much thinner than the usual disk galaxy? -Pika ten10 (talk) 09:26, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
