Created from the Route 4 Broadway "A", "D", "F" and "T" express variations, the NFTA 69 Alden Express Bus route began service on March 23, 1993 to operate between Downtown Buffalo, New York or William and Bailey to Appletree Business Park, Depew, Lancaster, Townline and the town of Alden.
