[edit] Redirects

What's with the redirects of tractates that haven't had articles written back to this page? It seems useless - and masks the fact that these articles need to be written. I prefer the immediacy of the red link!

I'm going to replace the redirects with stubs... --Eliyak 04:40, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] who and when

An article about a text (book, tractate etc) should start with the information who wrote it and when it was written. Or, if this can not be answered easily, when did first versions exist, how, when and by whom were they rewritten etc. One of the first sentences should tell us in which language/languages the text is written. In case of an non-english text: is it (completely?) translated into english? When, by whom?Arfst (talk) 18:46, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
