Talk:NexGen

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NexGen was not "short-lived" by ANY measure. The company had been in existence for about a decade before being purchased by AMD. They had built 2-3 generations of chips before that acquisition. Deriders of the company often called it "NeverGen", due to the many years the company not being able to produce a competitive device. Of course, that changed with the Nx586 and later the K6.
