"Next Contestant" is the seventh song on Canadian rock band Nickelback's fifth studio album All the Right Reasons.

[edit] Meaning

The song tells the listener about the narrator's problem; his girlfriend is very attractive and desirable, and every time they are out together, he notices that men are trying to seduce her, thinking they may have a chance with her. This makes the narrator very frustrated and angry, and in the song he talks about how he has to keep getting rid of the men; the "next contestants". as it seems clear from the song his girlfriend is a bartender or a dancer in a club an all men want to touch her. Some try to give her a drink so as to pull her attention. All of them want a night with her. The narrator wants to offend and even hit men who touch her and want her. This song could suit to many people as today there are many men who see young women and want to seduce them and many men who are very jealous...
