Thanks for your message via the edit summary. I don't doubt that all the details in the article are accurate. The problem is the subject of the article may not be notable enough for a Wikipedia entry.
The notability guideline for people requires that the person must have been the subject of published secodnary sources. This is qualified by the following:
    • if the depth of coverage is not substantial, then multiple independent sources may be required;
    • Even if multiple sources are provided, if the coverage is trivial or incidental it may still not be sufficient to establish notability; and
    • If the sources only cover the person in the context of a particular event then a separate biography may be unwarranted.
The CNN reference in the article is an example of trivial or incidental coverage. Paul is not interviewed, nor is he the subject of the news story. He is mentioned only in passing as one of a number of people who filmed the fire. This is not only incidental coverage, it is also coverage exclusively in the context of the notable event (the wildfire). The event was notable but individuals whose only claim to notability is a passing mention in connection with it, are not.
As there is disagreement regarding the notability of this article I have listed it at AfD so that a consensus can be reached either way. Euryalus 05:31, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
      • Paul was interviewed, I am not exactly a friend of his but I do know him, and I was present when he was interviewed. He was interviewed via phone.
      • Do not state information of which you don't know--or that you THINK you know.

The transcript linked from the article does not contain an interview with Mr Paul. an internet search doesn't reveal any broadcast or published interviews with Mr Paul. if you can provide sources showing a broadcast or published interview, please add them to the article.
