The Village of Newburgh, Ontario is located in the Township of Stone Mills, in Lennox and Addington County. In 1998, Newburgh was amalgamated with the Township of Camden East and the Township of Sheffield and the Township of Stone Mills was created.[1]

Newburgh was founded in 1822 by Benjamin Files and Wm. V.P. Detlor and incorporated as a village in 1858.
