I've just done a little bit for Auckland so far. Thoughts on how much details we should go into? Listing every candidate in every election will take a lot of space but will be complete. Perhaps only winning candidates for non-mayoral votes (and only the top few there) ?

I think the article should mention mayoral contests and notable councillors, for the sake of space. And it would be nice to make an attempt at cleaning the article up before nominations for this year's elections close (late July). Kripto 02:50, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
