The main role for NZQA is to provide quality assurance for those administering qualifications. It does not have any role in providing qualifications, that is for the qualifications provider, or school. The provider administers the qualification, but in order for the process to be valid, NZQA provides a context for quality assurance. Candidates gaining the qualification want their learning recognised through the qualification. Withit 19:46, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
