The "weight loss" link was a link to a commercial website hawking weight loss pills. Reference to second lent removed. Citations would be helpful. Michaeljhymowitz 14:32, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
The "history" section does not quite match up with the article - though "a history of new year customs in general" would be appropriate/useful. Jackiespeel 17:33, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
I have removed some pseudo-vandalism.
The "history section" if it could be developed as above would be interesting. Jackiespeel 17:45, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
there seems to be some pseudo-vandalism taking place on this page.
I think it would be interesting if we could find a study on how many people stop working or keeping there resolution one month after new years et al. I am thinking along the lines of gym memberships. Millions of Americans buy yearly memberships, but quit going after the first month or so.Arliecrabtree (talk) 17:00, 1 January 2008 (UTC) 24.86.194.103 (talk) 04:50, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Agreed. I think that the tendency to abandon resolutions is sufficiently common that something should be included about it if verifiable sources are available. I've added a couple of words to this effect but more would be ideal. 216.36.186.2 (talk) 13:25, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
