That's the wrong emblem. The one currently shown is the emblem of the Galactic Empire; the New Republic uses the Alliance emblem, which is reminscent of a bird in flight. --Poorpaddy 02:59, 12 May 2005 (UTC)

The page for the Old Republic says that it lasted for 25,000 years, whilst this page says "over 1000 years". While I suppose that they're not technically in disagreement, can someone investigate and change whichever page is incorrect?--Shinyplasticbag 04:26, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
It is probably a misunderstanding. It lasted for a thousand generations, not years, which, assuming they mean human generations, is more or less 25,000 years. Custodes 07:36, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
