The 12th was notably Republican for twenty years before the 2000 redistricting; it still goes from Lambertsville to Rumson, two of the most Republican municipalities in the state. It was made more Democratic in 2001, by swapping Bernardsville out, and it is now possible for a popular Democratic incumbent to hold it without much difficulty. That is not the same thing as Democratic-leaning (rather it would be neutral), and we should have a source. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 22:18, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
